A Baroque church begun in 1686 on the initiative of the Marquises of Villaverde, who gave the land and part of the money on condition of direct access from their palace. Ventura Rodríguez intervened in 1752 and the work was not finished until the mid 18th century. The portal has Solomonic columns of black Calatorao stone, and the carvings inside are by José Ramírez de Arellano.
