A Cistercian monastery founded in 1341 or 1343 of which no medieval fabric remains: the present church, with three naves and a dome on an octagonal drum, was raised by a Cistercian lay brother, a pupil of Ventura Rodríguez, in 1774 or 1778 depending on the source, and was finished by 1788. The gate of the walled enclosure carries the date 1797. Abandoned after the Desamortización, it is in a precarious state and the church belongs to several private owners.
