A Renaissance palace that Artal de Alagón, Count of Sástago and viceroy of Aragón, had built between 1570 and 1574 on the Coso. It lodged Felipe II and, in 1814, Fernando VII, and its Baroque portal comes from a later alteration. Since 1981 it has belonged to the Diputación Provincial, which restored it and uses it as an exhibition hall and for concerts.

We count visits ourselves, with no cookies and nothing stored on your device. To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one. We never store your IP. We also use Plausible, analytics hosted in the European Union that likewise sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, to learn which sites send readers here and how many searches are run, never what is searched for.
