The owner's house of the 4th century villa, square in plan, with towers at its four corners and a courtyard at the centre, joined by a corridor to baths with a frigidarium, tepidarium and caldarium. Its mosaics are among the most important in Spain: the one in the oecus shows a hunt, Achilles found out by Ulysses on Skyros, and a border of portraits and seasons. It was found in 1968, opened to the public in 1984, and since April 2009 has been visited under the building by Paredes and Pedrosa.

We count visits ourselves, with no cookies and nothing stored on your device. To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one. We never store your IP. We also use Plausible, analytics hosted in the European Union that likewise sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, to learn which sites send readers here and how many searches are run, never what is searched for.
