The villa of Arellano, excavated since 1988, with its owner's quarters, a colonnaded precinct with an altar to Cybele and a stable for the sacrificial cattle, and Roman window grilles that fell in a fire and lay buried under the later villa. Its most famous mosaic, the nine Muses, of the 4th century, was lifted in 1882 and is in the National Archaeological Museum. The site has been laid out for visitors and has been open since 2008.

To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one.
